The Big Task
Determine, clarify, monitor and improve on technical performance regarding all aspects of HVAC Install. The Quality Assurance Manager works with other staff to establish procedures and quality standards and to monitor these against agreed upon targets.
Key Sub Tasks
- Visit job sites to monitor work in progress, as needed.
- Plan, schedule and conduct training on systems and products.
- Deliver Technical Support to Lead Technicians and Project Managers.
- Create videos to capture field issues and their solutions. Communicate those findings to the appropriate parties.
- Act as liaison with vendors regarding products and issues.
- Be client focused, and work daily to provide exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrate a positive, “can do” attitude when handling all situations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally.
- Debrief with the HVAC Install Operations Manager on pertinent information regarding the performance of jobs.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in installation, with more than 7 years’ experience installing HVAC systems.
- EPA Certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes.
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts Sheet Metal License.
- Plumbing License a plus.
- Clean, safe driving record.
- Multitasker who enjoys working in the field with diverse teams on varied projects.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with exceptional follow through abilities.
- Good presentation skills; able to convey confident and decisive messages.
- Top performer who can instill pride of workmanship in self and others.
